I had a pleasant 8 hour flight from Dulles to Portland, Oregon today, Saturday, May 31, 2008. I am spending my first night at my brother-in-law George Vogt's home in Portland.
In the morning, he will take me to Warrenton, Oregon, on the Pacific coast, to dip my rear tire and begin my journey.
