Chester, IL. Been there. As Lise may remember, it's not far south of the family home town of Columbia; and it's where Grandpa Vogt spent his last years in a nursing home. Also, there's a really big pen (as in jail) there, as I recall. I hope the rest of Illinois is better. It will be flatter.

I grew up in Illinois. Now you know why I migrated to VA at age 18Great food by Chicago- other than that not much...

Congrats, Gar!!! Way to go! I just can't imagine riding that far. I don't remember Chester, but vividly recall Columbia and the basement of our house (because we spent so much time there hiding from tornados). Have a safe trip across IL.
